Reno is absolutely gorgeous.  The weather is mild, and wonderful.  The
landscape is breathtaking.  You can see snow in the mountains, and the
beautiful pine trees, as you feel the warm summer air.  The first day we were
here, we drove to Lake Tahoe to look around.  On the way we stopped to
check out the trails.  (We'll go on these when Chelsea goes home.  They are
long, and we want to camp along the way, make two or three days out of it.
She would NOT enjoy that.)
We found snow to play in, that's right, snow, in July!!  (Yes, that is her cell
phone in her hand.  I think it's permanently attached.  Even the beautiful
scenery wasn't enough to convince her to leave it in the truck.)
When we finally got down to the lake, we climbed down the cliff and played on
the rocks.  The lake is breathtaking, this picture doesn't do it justice.
The next day we returned to swim in the lake, and looked for a place to put in one
of the inflatable boats.  The landscape was even more beautiful from the
swimming rocks, but I didn't have my camera.
Of course, between all our lake adventures, we have been doing what we came
here for, playing with Richard's new grandbaby.  Evan James Bronson was born
on June 26th,  weighing 8 lbs and measuring 20 inches long.  Isn't he cute?
As I get more good pictures of him, I will post them.
